What wonderful timing! I’m planning a brief sojourn in Bath this summer, and your series will no doubt prove to be an invaluable guide! ; )

More to look forward to!
I spent 10 glorious days in London 12 years ago and we took a bus tour to Bath–a few hours didnt give me enough time to explore and see what I wanted to. If I ever win the lottery…..

Ive spent many, many days in Bath-Ive stayed in a friend’s apartment in a grand house in the Circus and in an apartment in Catherine Place (our kitchen overlooked the Royal Crescent) as well as at hotels. As a child in the 1960s I remember the place was black with all the industrial grime from near by Bristol and is now unrecognisable. It is one of my favourite places to visit-desptie the crowds and I am looking forward to going back in time to see it through Jane Austen’s eyes.
