I had never heard that other Pleasure Gardens were called &lt;i&gt;Vauxhalls&lt;/i&gt; before this. I&#039;ve wondered for years how to pronounce that name, thinking it might be French; I finally settled on &quot;VOX-hall.&quot; Is this correct? I was happy to see the color version of the map. It DID help make your descriptions clearer. I&#039;d like to visit Bath...someday  :-)
